The second projectFLY group flight of 2019 is upon us!
This time around, we’re heading to and from a selection of airports in the UK and the Canary Islands. As always, we encourage as many people as possible to take part, just make sure you have the projectFLY app installed (link below).
The Easter group flight that took place last month was a fantastic event, so thank you to everyone who participated. The traffic was split nicely over the various chosen departure and arrival airports and all of the flights on the projectFLY Radar looked fantastic too!
If you are interested in joining us and the projectFLY community in the group flight, then check out the following so you know where to be and when:
- Date: 25th May 2019
- Time: 12:00z - 21:00z
- Departure/arrival airports:
- EGKK - London Gatwick
- EGSS - London Stansted
- EGCC - Manchester
- EGBB - Birmingham
- GCTS - Tenerife South
- GCFV - Fuerteventura
- GCLA - La Palma
- GCRR - Lanzarote
- Networks: VATSIM & IVAO
Users have the option of flying on either VATSIM or IVAO and again, we've got in touch with both networks and requested departure, en-route and arrival ATC coverage where possible.
There’s no particular order in which flight users should do first, so feel free to depart the Canaries and head to the UK or vice versa. And if you have the time, why not do the return?
If you don't already have an account on projectFLY, be sure to get yourself registered and download the app at: https://app.projectfly.co.uk.
We have additional group flights planned, so please keep an eye on our social media pages to stay updated!
We hope to see you there!
